Happy St. Patricks Day

Tomorrow is St. Partick's Day, the day when St. Patrick created zombies or tied some snakes together or something. Regardless of what actually happened that fateful day we celebrate by drinking green beer, punching people not wearing green and kissing people who are clearly not Irish just because they are wearing a t-shirt.

Now to celebrate my own partial Irish heritage I present a report about our national spokesperson.

Mmm...Fried Catfish.

Sugar-Free Peeps? Is such a thing possible? Wouldn't that create a black hole or make a tear in the space-time continuum.

Notes of Note

Ben Folds rules. May not be the best singer in the world, but his lyrics and piano are phenomenal.

So what if Portal is only four hours long. It looks awesome and its coming bundled for free with Half-Life 2: Episode 2. Plus I'm sure modders will add more levels in no time. So, quit your bellyaching.

Gaming addiction is a tough thing to battle. But there is much hope to conquer it. You could attend the Game Boy Musical, an allegory about too much gaming. If that doesn't work then listen to an annoying sound that will cure you of your addiction. As for me, I'm going to go play God of War 2 for 12 hours straight.

Hollyweird

Ron Perlman would have made a great Comedian for the Watchmen movie. Now that I've heard that suggestion I can't think of anyone else to fit the role.

Bryan Singer to work on a good movie again before returning to the crap that is Superman? And he's working with Usual Suspects Scribe? Well count me in.

Nomad: A movie about Kazakhstan. Hmm, I don't see any women in cages or pube based currency. Is it possible that ace reporter Borat lied to us?

The Next Race: First off, what the hell? Secondly I don't like the term Homo Sapien used derogatorily. I prefer the term "Man Animal!"

Simon Cowell will quit if Sanjaya wins. That's probably an incentive for some people. I know I'll quit watching if Sanjaya wins.

Procession

It's been a rough weekend. Just got back from a funeral in Oklahoma. My great aunt died before I got a chance to know her, which is sad. She sounded like a great lady.

One good thing that occurred this weekend was that I got to meet much of my extended family for the first time. It was really nice. I've lived so far away from them for most of my life. They all seem like good people, funny too.

Now, I'm feeling a little tired from the 500 mile drive (Why is the US so big?) Good night all.

I visited a flower shop this weekend. Got some great pictures, more to come.

This game will be taking up the rest of my free time in the foreseeable future.

Top 5 Trends in games: 1) Games used to build brands. 2)User generated content. 3)Definition changes. 4) More ads. 5) Licensing more thought out.
My additions: 6) More lens flare and bloom. 7) More WWII because it seems there isn't enough already. 8) PS3's banned from Iran. 9) Games will be advertisements. 10) The return of Pac-Man and Pong.

Out of the 10 Most Important Games of All-Time, I've played seven. Zork (1980), Tetris (1985), SimCity (1989), Super Mario Bros. 3 (1990), Civilization I/II (1991), Doom (1993), and Warcraft series (beginning 1994.)

America, thanks for not making crap win the box office for the 3rd time in a row. 300 breaks records!

Tropic Thunder. Weird premise, but I love the cast despite what other on the Internet may say. I loves me some Jack Black, Stiller and Downey, jr.

Color Me Kubrick: This looks brilliant.

TV shows on the Bubble, that I wish weren't: Knights of Prosperity this show was pretty funny the few episodes I saw, Jericho I thought this show was doing reasonable-okay it has lame episodes that make no sense but i'd still like to see more, and Medium this show is still interesting if predicatble.

At least Dexter is coming back. Very excited about next season's developments.

Vote for the number one Sit-Com character. It's like American Idol, but more important.

What's more fun than watching cars drive around in a circle? Watching a show about watching cars drive around in a circle?
